What is Norcon

Norcon is the Premiere Northern California wargaming event.

Every year wargamers from all over California converge on Redding's "" park for two days of wargaming.

All gaming systems are allowed.  Events and tournaments are scheduled for all major gaming systems.

  • Warmachine Tournament

    The GameWARMACHINE players take on the role of warcasters as they lead their titanic forces into battle. Warcasters possess significant martial prowess of their own as well as having hardened warriors and magical spells to bring to bear. Players collect, assemble, and paint fantastically detailed models representing the varied warriors, machines, and creatures in their armies. WARMACHINE is fully compatible with its feral twin, the monstrous miniatures combat game of HORDES.

    There will be a Warmachine team Tournament on Saturday the 27th.

    • "The Enemy of my Enemy"

    You are the leader of a small warband that has stumbled into the convergence of other forces. Terribly outnumbered you form an uneasy alliance. Will the alliance hold, or even let you live to fight another day?


    Saturday Morning
    Approximate run time: 5 hours
    25 points 3 rounds
    All entrants will be paired with a random teammate. The teammates army becomes friendly model. If the partners share the same faction they become friendly faction models

    Scenarios will be posted closer to Norcon.
